This maybe a strange question considering I'm 22 years old and I probably should know the answer to my question.

I'm a virgin and I've been going out with my bf for a little over a month now. So I was wondering if you can get pregnant if a guy fingers you? I've looked on other websites and there are very conflicting answers to that type of question. Although I think the chances of getting pregnant from being fingered is slim to none. Can anyone please help me to understand this better please?

The odds are very, very slim. This will help you understand what mild risk factors there are:

Sperm is located in the testicles. When a man ejaculates, sperm is released through the vas-deferens to the outside environment. If vaginal penetration is happening sexually, without contraception, a sperm can travel from the cervix up the falopian tubes and fertilize an egg.

Now, usually when fingering is involved a male has his cloths on. If he chose not to have his cloths on and ejaculated anywhere near your vagina, then there is a chance pregnancy could occur. This is the small chance that fingering has a risk for pregnancy. Sprem usually dies very quickly when exposed to oxygen, so in order for pregnancy to occur from non-penetration the environment has to be moist & ideal. The cervix is a very rough place as it is. Most sperm deposited in a woman dies because of the harsh environment. Oxygen on the outside of the vagina is even more toxic to sperm.

Keep note that a woman ovulates (releases an egg) about 4 days before her mentral period (it rangers because all women are different). A woman is techically only able to become pregnant two days out of a normal menstral month. Although, sperm can live in a woman's body for up to about 4 days as well. Some people/studies say longer & some say shorter, 4 days is the average. Pregnancy is techincally hard to do, which is hard to believe since it seems tons of people are having babies.

If you do choose to have sexual intercouse and are worried about pregnancy (let alone STDs), condoms are cheap...please purchase them. Do not be embarassed because people now-a-days look smart rather then naughty when purchasing them.

Off the point, but I am happy you are still techincally a virgin. I lost my virginity when I was 21 & it's nice to see some people are still waiting.

Thanks for the help. We keep our cloths on. We decided to wait on having sex until after I see my doctor in February because I'd prefer to be on birth control even though my bf will wear a condom. I chose to wait because I never found the right guy.

Well, I had hoped the man I lost my virginity to was going to marry me but then he cheated on me & ran off...so some of us can't exactly get what we thought was right.
