    Default Another Anal sex question

Hi Well the husband and I gave the anal sex thing another go, It was better this time, No pain involved like the last time. But I have a new question, I noticed that after anal sex I was pretty gassy and today (the day after) I didn't have a BM just been farty all day. I usually have a regular BM every morning but not today. Is this a normal thing after anal sex? I am still new at this thing, I am getting better but I still have questions

    Unhappy

No answers I guess I am getting worried cuz I am farting all day today, I have slight ab pain probably from the gas, I get scared about the possibility of preforation. Is it a common thing? And if that was to happen wouldn't I have known it while we were in the act? I am getting kinda worried about that. The act wasn't painful and we took it slow, but I worry that I could hurt myself. Anal sex is starting to look less appealing after every time we try it. It seems like the day after comes with it's problems. Is this the way it is for anyone else? Please help!!!

Air gets in there and there's no way around it. Don't know about the change in bowel pattern. Perforation is unusual, pretty unlikely with consensual sex. It just takes some getting used to. Some couples have such a preference for it that it becomes their primary sex act.

Thank you wildchild for your response. Well that is good news I get worried because the act kinda is taboo for me.... stuff comes out not usually in. I get concerned about damage. The gas I can live with I guess, it is just unconfortable. I am starting to think that maybe anal sex isn't for me especially if I am just gonna worry about all the bad things. I just really wanted to try it out and maybe spice up the love life a bit with the hubby. Funny thing is he even prefers the vagina over anal because of the lube issue and all my worries lol. Thanks again for responding to my concern I feel alot more relieved.

LOL. The man in my life went through a phase of wanting anal. After a few times he decided he didn't really care for it and informed me that we would be doing that again. From what I understand while the entry is tighter, further in it's looser feeling to the man.
I do regular kegels and use a kegal master. When he tells me to squeeze him, he doesn't mean a hug. That does get him going, or cumming as the case may be.

If you don't go to the bathroom, maybe constipated? I've heard of when people don't fully empty out before an anal encounter, that the 'matter' could get pushed around and compacted etc. I wouldnt worry about it unless you don't go to the bathroom soon.

Its a good idea to only do it when you know you have emptied out the area within a few hours of doing it.

Gassy is normal I think. All the times I've done it I've had a lot of air pass the day of /after often and sometimes even unexpectadly. Its more trouble than its worth to do it often I would imagine. For me its about timing and mood when both of those stars are in allignment I like experimenting with it just fine

Well I did have a bm today I guess I was a bit constipated yesterday, I was really gassy and a bit sore but I feel better today Drinking chamomile tea really helped. Having the whole gas issue is a bit of a turn off for me lol, I would rather not have that after the night of fun. I guess it is all normal though but certainly not fun.

Some of that may be tension over the new experience?

Anal sex doesn't make me gassy or constipated - I will perhaps need to expel a little air in the following half hour but not beyond. Of course - we are all different so ymmv.

A perforation would not manifest itself that way. First and foremost there would be pain, yes, but other symptoms are swelling, fever, pelvic pressure, a darkening or reddening of the buttocks. Gas is not a noted symptom.

I rather expect the two were unrelated, just a little unfortunate timing. I'm glad you are feeling better.
Now let us sport us while we may; / And now, like am'rous birds of prey,
Rather at once our time devour, / Than languish in his slow-chapp'd power.
    Let us roll all our strength, and all / Our sweetness, up into one ball;
And tear our pleasures with rough strife / Thorough the iron gates of life.
Thus, though we cannot make our sun / Stand still, yet we will make him run.
