Unhappy Lost my orgasm

I am a happily married woman. My husband and I enjoy sex and I have regular orgasms. Well, I did until I had a minor day surgery to have my IUD taken out. They didn't cut anything, they put me under and had to root around in there intil they found it and took it out. Since then I haven't been able to orgasm. I feel close sometimes and sometime not at all. It is frusterating both me and my husband and once he "goes" and I know it is done I can't help but cry out of frusteration.
Do you think something changed when I had the procedure or maybe it was the IUD that helped me achieve frequent orgasms? I really want our satisfying sex life back.

I can't imagine any possible the IUD or it's removal could effect your ability to orgasm. Are you concerned about pregnancy? Stress and worry can certainly take their toll.

I'm not stressed that I know of. It is really disappointing because I don't feel like making love anymore since it is more frusterating than satisfiying.

What kind of IUD? Some are hormone based and that could effect things. The simple solution to that is to try birth control pills. Otherwise I don't know. I wouldn't think anything they did physically would cause it if you aren't having any other symptoms from it.

I am 27 years old. Not currently on any medication or birth control. I am not able to take the pill as my doctor thinks it has something to due with the migrains I was experiencing in the past. That is why I got the IUD.

I stopped thinking about it and relaxed and it came back! All is well in the world.
