    Default "safe sex?"

I was just thinking about this randomly the other day ...

is there really such a thing as "safe sex?"

-I mean first there was the "pull out" method but then we learned about all the pre-ejaculation stuff and how that can get you pregnant.

-Then there are condoms but for some reason they seem to break/malfunction a lot more than you wuld expect.

-Last there is birth control. But then we find out that people are getting pregnant while on it, whether it's from missing a day or taking some kind of medicine that lowers the effectiveness blah blah blah

I'm sure there are people out there that use none of the above methods and still make out ok but ...

What if you use all three? Are you safe then? lol

I think there is a saying "There is no such thing as safe sex." Nothing is 100% except for not having sex at all, unfortunately.

    To my knowledge and understanding..

No, there is no way of 100% safe sex.. Theres.. "More safe sex".. In other words, the chances off getting pregnant are less.. But no, I havent heard off anything that can completley wipe out the chances having sex and not getting pregnant..

Yes.. using all 3 off those methods are possible and yes, they will make it VERY VERY unlikley you will get pregnant.. But there is always a risk..

If you get into SURGICAL means.. Aka.. The whom being removed, or the mans testicals being surgicaly removed.. Then yes I, guess you can have 100% safe sex then, but who would want that?

Maybe sometime in the future there will be some sort off pill that can make sex 100% safe.. I've heard some rumour about a male pill? Kinda like the female BC, but in a mans form.. Making the sperm fertile or stopping ejaculation or something? Anyone else heard anything about it? Maybe theres already such a thing, but I've never seen it in Tesco's..

well if you want to be 100% safe i reckon go with all 3. I dont see how anyone can get pregnant if condoms are used, the pill is taken properly AND using the pull out method. Unless the man has supermen sperm

To be extra safe, use BC and pull out.

I've been using the simple pull method out for years and it has always worked for me.

I've been safely having sex for many years. No puliing out, no real problems. BC Must be used correctly and I suspect that has much to do with failure rates.

Loafer m'dear, where did you get the idea that a man's testicles are removed for "safe sex"? Testicles,(usually one) may be removed because of testicular cancer, in some extreme cases a sexual offender may have them removed, but few societies are into eunuchs these days. A Vasectomy involves preventing the sperm from joining the seminal fluiid, so it does not leave the body. Ejaculation is then quite normal, there just isn't any sperm in it. The man in my life had one many years ago and his ejaculation seems quite normal to me.

Pardon me.. Maybe I said it wrong..

I ment, by having testicals removed, means yes you could have safe sex.. right? No testicals.. No sperm..

I didnt mean that people actually do that, or that its normal for people to do that.. Its just an idea that was in my head and that would work.. But like I said, who would ever want that?..

LOL, testicles manufacture testosterone. No testicles. No sexual interest or desire, unless the man is getting testosterone by injection or a patch. That would certainly prevent pregnancy but in the same way that celibacy does. Not an option as far as I'm concerned!

You are indeed right There is such a thing. They were working on an injection method, a hormonal pill, and an implant device last I heard. Unfortunately, it's been in testing stages for years now and won't be released for human consumption anytime soon it seems.
Yet for women's BC they just keep popping up with new stuff every year without checking for long term safety... or any real complications at all it seems. Go figure =P
