I've found that doggy-style (i.e. woman on her hand and knees, man behind) isn't the most accessible position in virginal sex because the woman's butt prevents the man from penetrating as deep as possible, which he may need to do to compensate for the tightness.

The position I've found that provides the easiest access is missionary with the legs up a bit and pushed a bit toward the woman. This leaves her totally exposed, so it's really as close as the pelvis can get without someone having to amputate their legs.

(Logically it should be the scissors position, but I've had better results with missionary for some reason. It's also more comfortable for the man, so he won't tire as much.)

As a side note, when it comes to sex with virgins (i.e. those new to intercourse), two words should always be kept in mind: slowly, delicately. Avoids "slipping out" and keeps the pain to a minimum.

This may be something you are doing wrong. You shouldn't have to support his weight on you to the point that it makes it hard to breath. Get him to prop himself up on his hands. You'll be able to breath, and you'll both be able to control what's going on "down there" a lot better, and it should help prevent slipping out.

If you can't put your legs on his shoulder and don't want doggy (though I understand the reason) try the one with your legs slightly open and knees to your chest. He can rest on your feet, see his target (because he would be sitting upright) and penetrate as deep as his little heart desires
