I wasn't sure who I could turn to for help, so I just signed up on here. I had sex 2 days ago, and today I found a little bloody discharge on my panties. I'm really worried about it because it happened before, but I bled more, so I thought I was having a very short period (I usually have irregular periods so I can't really tell when it's happening. It's starting to regulate though). It's not very bloody, it's mostly like blood streaked discharge. I'm planning to go see a doctor very soon, but it's really bothering me. What do you think it could be? Has anyone had this before?

I have had many girlfriends who have had bleeding...spotting is a pretty normal thing. are you on birthcontrol? that can regulate your periods and maybe reduce the bleeding... im not a doctor tho so i suggest that is who you get your advice from... but most of all don't worry yourself to death...anxiety only makes things worse....i know its hard... its something i have been working on quite a bit myself...good luck sweetheart

Some women experience bleeding after sex due to either a tear in the vaginal wall from friction, some sort of issue like a cyst, or a fluctuation in hormones brought on by the sex. It's best to see your doctor about it.
