How can I get used to anal?

I have a new boyfriend and he's amazing, I am falling for him and everything is great. He is absolutely amazing in bed, but he tries to do anal a lot on me and I have never liked that at all. I tried to for a second years ago but thats as far as I ever could go with it, it kindof freaks me out. I am very open minded when it comes to sex, and I want to make him happy, so I want to try it. Does anyone have any tips on easing myself into this?

Buy lots of lube, get a douche/enema kit....it feels really uncomfortable at first because it does really hurt if you're not use to it,but passing the pain point I found it can be pleasurable. I like anal while stimulating my clitoris as that has produced very intense orgasms for me and it convinced me as to why some women actually enjoy anal.The orgasm is intense.There is a pleasure side to it,just have to tap into it. Start out slowly of course.

Thanks, I guess really thinking about it, the only thing that scares me about it is the discomfort or pain. Otherwise I wouldn't mind it.

One word - AstroGlide. It is the best lube for anal, IMO... Someone posted some time ago about being able to fit a Cadillac in a doghouse with the stuff, it works wonders.

You have to be very relaxed and be able to open up down there. Have him get you "prepared" first for the penetration by using a lubed up finger if needed. PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE too. Once he starts to work himself in, have him stop so you can get used to the size and intrusion and relax around him.

The orgasms can be very pleasurably intense if done right. If it's something you want to try, have a drink to relax yourself first... The more tense you are the more uncomfortable it will be.

Yes I agree with Lana...having a few drinks first really does help. Make sure he goes in first very slowly tho. I had one guy just shove it in me really fast and it hurt like . Same with vaginal,I don't get why guys think shoving it in so fast is'nt gonna hurt.
I like Astroglide too,but Walgreens makes a generic version which is similar and cheaper. Practicing with a dildo helps getting used to it too.

I agree with the other posts use lots of lube, find a good position I like the "Leap Frog" position as it's good for both vaginal and anal penetration, start with small sex toys and then when you feel comfortable you can work up to bigger and better

Thanks guys, I think practicing with my "Aikman" (Dallas Cowboys fan) before hand is a good idea. And the lube, I have a lot of this WET brand of lube which is pretty good. I never really thought I would be willing to try this, but I really like this guy and I am going to give it a shot.
