Ugh. That's one thing I hated even when I WAS smoking. Over the winter my last roommate would smoke in the car but keep the windows up so it wouldn't get cold, it felt like death in there. That's actually what I think about whenever I think I might sneak a cigarette and it turns me off to it. I actually have a hard time remembering how I ever smoked indoors.

I actually have a friend who is turned on by my smoking. (Yes, I smoke) He thinks that there is just something incredibly sexy about it. I actually find certain guys who smoke attractive but it's not a "turn on" nor is it a "turn off" for me personally.

If my S.O. wanted me to smoke I would even if I wasn't a smoker. I don't think it's really a big deal. And I agree with what Steph said. There are way more worse things that he could ask for. Things that I WOULD NOT do.

Lol, I have heard of this fetish, and I am a smoker. I could only imagine how annoying it would be, considering I smoke a pack a day, which is 20 cigarettes, that every time I smoked one he was in the mood. No, I would not want to be with a guy with a smoking fetish even though I do smoke.

Interesting how many of the "no" responses thus far show a complete aversion to the smoking itself. I wonder how willing to fulfill any fetish these people would be. What if it were something else unique (something other than your "vanilla" & common BDSM fetish)? Would you consider your partner's wishes and kinks? Certainly you probably have some type of fetish of your own. In my opinion, it seems that most of the "yes" people are handling this question/situation well. They aren't really thinking about the smoking part of it as much as the fact that their partner has something they wish/like and they would like to please them (because they are their partner). The thing just happens to be smoking. Granted, I can understand if someone wouldn't want to actually smoke (especially if they don't already), but that's why the option was also in there to pretend to smoke with unlit cigarettes and/or props/toys. Still interesting how some people wouldn't even be willing to do that, to simply play the game for their partner, and would even be willing to break it off with him because they aren't open to his sexuality interests. Very interesting I think.

Could be because many people won't even date someone who smokes casually. It's certainly on my list, and I know lots of other people (male and female) whose "list" it is also on. So putting it in the bedroom would be prickly.
With every fetish, it's going to depend heavily on the partner's discretion. I'd say no to attaching a dildo to my teddy bear too ... but there are plenty of people who'd raise their hand and say "YES YES YES!"

True, I wouldn't date a smoker. I have some freinds who do and they only do so outside. I don't permit it in or near my home or vehicle. While my sensitivity levels vary with exposure it just isn't worth my health and comfort.

Me thinks it likely the OP has a fetish that not many he's met are willing to consider.

If it was a matter of the illusion of a smoke filled room, a Hallows Eve mist machine would provide that. They are readily availible right now.
