Thread: Position Trouble

My boyfriend and I have been together for a few months and have a very good sex life except from one problem. Whenever I try to get on top it just will not work. We manage to have sex in every other position we have tried so I know it is nothing to do with size. When we are having sex in the missionary position and he moves back onto his knees and I climb on top that way it will work ok but when I try to climb on top when he is simply lying flat, his penis will simply not go in.
We have both tried this position may times and have both tried to guide his penis in with our hands but every time we try it is unsuccessful.
Any ideas on how to try and make this work as it is both of our favourite position?

What seems to be the problem?

You can't find the hole, or his member can't reach it?

Or does he go soft in the duration?

Sorry i was a bit vague. He manages to stay hard throughout and he can reach me it just seems that he cannot fit. I know he can as we manage well in every other position except this one. I guide him in but then when I let go and start to have sex, it just won't fit in that position.

Fit? As in length or girth?

Or fit, as in when you move up and down he falls out?

I really don't know why it doesnt fit. It just seems that when I go to start moving I realise that rather than being inside me, I am on top of his penis. I don't know if it has fallen out as I don't know that his penis ever actually fit inside of me.

I should say that I am slightly clueless on why this happens as he feels as though it is something wrong with him and so he doesnt really like to talk about why he thinks it is happening which doesnt really help find a solution. Thats also why I can't really tell you very much but was just hoping someone was maybe having the same problem

If other positions work fine for you, I would just stick to those. Is sex good in other positions?

Yeah the sex is great in other positions. We do generally just stick to the ones that work but as this is both of our favourite position it would be nice to be able to have it work for us. I also think that as he feels that this is his fault it might help him get over that idea as it seems as though my reassurances are doing nothing.

As long as sex feels good, positions shouldnt matter. Which ones work good?
