Default Bleeding. Answers very appreciated.

Just really wanted something cleared up 'cause I'm a little worried.

I lost my virginity early last year to my ex-boyfriend, and never bled. We had sex often, and I never bled with him, ever.

However, this weekend I had sex with a new partner for the first time and I bled. I was wondering if it was possible that my hymen had just broken - that it hadn't ever broken with my ex-boyfriend? Or should I get checked out for something?

Thanks so much for any help. Just want to ease my mind!

Were you close to your period? Sometimes the muscle contractions of orgasm or the penis bumping the cervix can move things along.

WC is correct, or a different partner means different sensations. It could be from friction or just the fact that things have changed.

It was my last day of taking the contraceptive pill, so yes, I was pretty close to my period. So maybe that could be the reason.

Thanks a lot, both of you. Much appreciated. I was just worrying about all sorts of things!

Thanks again. (:

99% of this stuff usually resolves itself if you just don't stress about it
