Does your man wash his hands after the deed?

Hello ladies! Haven't been on here for a while....but...

I've just started dating a guy and I've noticed that every time we have sex (mainly after he fingers), he washes his hands afterwards--soap, more than five seconds, the whole nine yards. Should I be offended by this or does it mean I have bad sex habits for being surprised over the act? I mean, I feel like I'm quite clean down there compared to many. I shave, I douche, and I rarely smell. Do your boyfriends do this? Am I overreacting!?

Hygiene is good. Really if you think about it, he should be washing up before his hands go roaming. I mean, do you know where they've been?

After, it depends on how he does it. Does he just jump up and run off to wash? My guy washes immediately after cause he gets irritated skin on his penis, now we have to use condoms to reduce that. I have a theory that if he quit using his hands so hard it wouldn't be a problem.

He gets cleaned up but not directly...he doesn't hop up and run to the bathroom, but eventually he will move into the bathroom and clean up whatever we used and wash himself. Then I usually go in. I don't think I would look at it as having bad sex habits...everyone is different and that's just what he does.

My boyfriend is tidy and hygenic and always cleans up after sex but not immediately after, no. We lay around and cuddle a long time. Even if its just 'foreplay' type acts, we lay and cuddle a long time before either of us goes and touches up in the bathroom, then back to more holding.

The handwashing thing of your guy could be some mild OCD type thing.... do other things cause him to go spend 5 minutes washing his hands?

I guess my past partners haven't been as 'cleanly' as this guy. He doesn't immediately get up afterwards. We'll usually cuddle for a minute. I was just taken by surprise when he'd habitually get up and wash his hands after a while. It has made me self-conscious because I think it would bother him if I didn't do the same so I usually make a point of doing it as well now

. Ha ha I guess it originally offended me because past partners have commented on the quality of my hygiene down there and then to have a guy wash his hands! Ah! The nerve! Just kidding.

Well there's really only one to know for sure...ask him. Don't be shy, wouldn't you rather find out then let it eat you alive?

But I don't think it's because you have bad hygiene, just think about it...after you go to the bathroom, do you wash your hands? I sure do! So after him touching you down there (not saying its gross) he's going to want to wash his hands. He might even have a little OCD or maybe a germaphobe (again, not saying anything is wrong with you lol)

Honestly, I am more concerned about the 'before the act' thing. My requirements prior to the deed with my fiance, and that applies to both of us: wash hands/shower, and brush teeth and tongue. There are tons of germs in the tongue that remain "dormant" inside the mouth, but once they are in another area, i.e. genitalia - they are threatening beasts.

He's probably OCD about germs. Some OCD people really do wash the fcuk out of their hands. I mean, if you know your vagina's clean, then it probably has nothing to do with you and more to do with him.
