So I'm sure you hear about this type of question a lot but this is my first time here and I really could use some advice!

Last night I noticed some two bumps around where I shave my vagina. Its right on my lower part of my vagina, not inside it but on the outer edges of the bottom area of the lips. Anyways, these two bumps are the size of a speck. Lets say you took a marker and made a dot, two of those small dots would be the size of the two bumps! The coloring has the same usual bumps down there, a whitish color... well then I started to pick and prode at them, and the white bumps, I was able to kind of peel off what it seemed like, dead squishy skin? (gross right?) Anyways, this next morning I noticed that the bumps are gone and now they are just red marks like a small cut that hurts/stings a bit. I forgot to mention that I got tested for everything this last December, my doctor said everything looked fine! But after this, I dont know

I have been looking at pictures of Herpes and they definately don't look like those big red and white puss pockets. But maybe they are. I was going to make an appointment with the university health center but I don't get off work until 5 pm and then I have class at 6 pm! Boo. Anyways, any advice would be awesome.

They are probably just pimples or ingrown hairs. I get them every once in a while. They get whiteheads on them and can get bigger if you don't open them up. Sometimes they go away on their own without having to open them up. If you do open them up, it's best to try to get all of the white stuff out that you can. It is the same concept as a doctor lancing an absess.

I wouldn't worry to much about it. Give another day and see if they close up completely and turn into scabs. If they do then it's fine. If they stay open, get bigger, spread or anything like that, then it could be an infection... maybe herpes, but not likely from what you describe. Let us know how it turns out.

That kind of sounds like the warts that go along w/ HPV you may look it up online and compare them with that

Yeah I dont think its something you should really worry about we all get it sometimes i started to get it recently and it scared me at first but i figured if it was herpes it would've spread by now so you are good to go girl.

How did your problem end up? Also, any time you have even a faint suspicion you might have something serious, see a doctor. Not all outbreaks are full blown. There can be mild outbreaks, even the first time.
