and yeah just wanted to know if this effect is due to the EC pills then how long will this effect last and i just asked her wether she has any sorta discharge through her viagna she said its like usually just a lill' bit wet. Wen i asked the colour of the discharge she replied its water like, no colour no smell..is this common ?
Pregnant women also discharge rite ? what will be the colour of the discharge ?

Is this common too ?

Please do reply.

Thanks.

If you are so worried about it you really need to get her to go see an OBGyn rather than asking for advice on a public forum. Only a doctor speaking with her directly can get all the info to be able to make a diagnosis of what is going on with her body.

Clear mucus with little to no smell is what the body should normally put out. During different times of the month or on different hormonal birth control it can change a little. It might get less clear and be thicker or thinner and sometimes it might have slightly more smell but the smell shouldn't be too strong or offensive. So long as it isn't some strange color or so thick it forms lumps then it's normal.

It's hard to say how long the effects of EC might last since it interrupts a woman's normal cycle. Some might immediately go back to normal after a few days. Some might take a month or 2 for their own hormones to get back on track and start ovulating and menstruating on their usual schedule. It may also depend on the point a woman is in her cycle when she takes it as to how severe the side effects are and how long it takes to recover. Any change in hormones can cause the symptoms you've mentioned. They happen during pregnancy because of a change in hormones. Some experience those symptoms monthly from natural changes in hormones.

If you are really worried then at minimum get a pregnancy test. Dunno how easy they are to get over there but here you walk into any grocery store or pharmacy and you can buy various kinds for a few dollars. When I've been on birth control that caused odd symptoms frequently or stopped my period then I'd buy pregnancy tests in bulk online so I could check every other week and not worry. 5mins of my time and $.50 for a test was worth not worrying. When I kept having symptoms and feeling like I was pregnant despite tests I went to a doctor and got a blood test done. Which turned out to be beyond negative. I didn't have a testable amount of HCG, the hormone that increases during pregnancy, in my blood. It was all side effects of the birth control pills I was on. It was even causing fluid retention that made my abdomen swell and put pressure on my organs to make it seem even more like I was pregnant. I switched back to a pill I was on before and symptoms are steadily disapearing. Birth control pills (EC is just high does of daily birth control pills) can cause all sorts of symptoms including those of early pregnancy because they change the levels of hormones.

The vagina (the part up inside) cleans itself constantly and this creates a light discharge. Arousal creates a discharge, sometimes quite a lot. This is the natural lubricant for pleasurable sex. No discharge or white/yellow, lumpy, or foul smelling would be cause for concern.
