Hello there,

I needed some advise so I thought I'd come here.

I went to see my boyfriend last weekend. I am at University so Its hard to see each other because he stays in London, I am in York.

Anyway straight to the point, We had unprotected sex, He "came" inside me, But I have the Implant in my arm, so I know theres no risk of pregnancy.
And he hasnt slept with anyone but me and vise versa.

I was a little worried because I have started smelling a strong "fishy" wee odour when I go to the toilet, I wash twice daily. Shower every other day. So I dont understand why I am smelling.
It only occured after he "came" .. when I got home.

Could I have an infection from the semen? Or could it be releasing from my system and producing a bad odour?

I'm quite confused!

hey,
i know what you mean me and my fiancé have unprotected sex every time we have sex as I'm on the pill. so when he comes in me i go to the toilet and have the same smell as what you are experiencing its normal its just your body releasing the semen out of your vagina, its totally normal

Some men's semen is very strong in the smell. And, it leaves a more powerful odor inside a woman for a couple of days until it's all gone.

You could also have a yeast infection but that would be on-going not for a couple of days only, and this can be caused by many things, nylon underwear, stockings, ....

I think only be concerned if the smell continues and doesn't go away.

Ohhhhh ... Thats a relief.. I thought it would have been that! =)
I'll keep an eye out on the yeast infection ... if it doesnt go away ... lol

HAve him drink more watter. It will help. Booze and caffeine will make it worse.
