Your hymen may have torn a bit.

If you were a virgin before the fingering... its possible to rupture your hymen during that act (loss of 'technical virginity' ... but the hymen can rupture from various things... even vigorous exercise).

If you are not a virgin , could your period be starting...or restarting if it was over? Sometimes action in the vagina can kickstart your period if its close to starting or RE-kickstart it up again if it just recently ended.

If not a virgin, not near the time of your period... perhaps they had a sharp fingernail or ring that scraped you?

I wouldn't worry too much about it unless the bleeding continues, you have any pain, discharge, unsual bumps or odor, etc... if you are sexually active, you should be seeing a gyno regularly. If it worries you, you should call and make an appt. to put your mind at ease.
