Let me say though, if he "hits you" not a soft smack but actually hits you, it is abuse, google it....

Worked. What do you do with accounts that do this when they are caught?
I have a close friend that went through years of an abusive marriage. Her situation was that her husband seemed nice publicly, but when he got home he started drinking and would beat her. I'd see bruises every couple of months. I supported her through it and helped her get the courage to divorce him. She finally did. Now she's out of that abusive relationship, and her kids are much safer now. I wanted to throw him the same type of party (sheet), but I didn't get involved in that way. But I would have gone over there at any time to help her get her kids and belongings out of the house and take her to a safe place, and help file the restraining order paperwork if needed.
She would start blaming herself for the problems. I couldn't stand to hear her do that. It's a terrible thing for a woman to go through.
I know that this got to you a tad, Still learning. Closing this thread now and calling Troll.
Drinking seems to change the "animal" does it not? All you can ever do is be there for them when they are ready to walk... Hard, I know...
