Default Do hemorrhoids affect vaginal orgasm?

I have looked everywhere to get an answer about this but I just can't find one and I'm not sure if asking my doctor would give me an answer either.
The problem is, I've had a couple of small hemorrhoids since I turned 18, the doctor said they would go away, but they never did. I had them when I first had sex and I unfortunately still have them, and I still haven't had a vaginal orgasm during sex. The best I've reached is being very close, but then I feel light pain in that area and it distracts me.

I've been thinking about the lack of orgasm during sex for the last 7 years and it only just recently occurred to me that this could be the reason. Is this possible or could it be something else that's wrong with me? I've read that one of the top reasons that affects women's orgasm is pain during sex. This situation has started to bother me a little bit, especially since the day my fiance started asking me if I've had an orgasm, when he knows my problem. Now I don't feel it's normal not to have an orgasm during sex and I'm kind of panicking about it...

Don't panic, I have never had an orgasm during sex, a lot of women haven't. I really wish I could have one without clitoral stimulation. The hemorroids, if they are causing any pain during sex I would say could be something keeping you from reaching orgasm. I have a hemeroid, courtesy of my 2 year old, but it doesn't hurt me. I will look in my books to see what it says about g-spot orgasms, I would like to find a way to make this happen myself.

There's your answer: it doesn't take much of a distraction to derail that train before it reaches Orgasm. If the hemorrhoid is causing that pain, that's your cause. You should speak to your doctor about this he/she will tell you that "if it's not causing any problems, don't worry about it," but it clearly IS causing a problem, and some treatment should be done.

I would be a bit concerned about that doctor that told you that your hemorrhoids were going to go away on their own. As a "veteran" of two such surgeries, I can state that short of a miracle, that is not likely to happen. Find yourself another doctor. If you are having pain from your hemorrhoids, its a problem. Fortunately, one that is not too difficult to fix.

In defense of the dr. depending on how the hemorrhoid looks it may very well retract. I had one earlier in the year and it did go away. If they are severe however (7 years seem to fall under that category) then I would recommend going back or seeing another physician. It may or may not be the issue, but it is something worth looking at.

There has been some good advice on this board as well, for issues other than hemorrhoids related distraction

Thanks for the answers, I am considering another check to see how it goes with them. I just feel unlucky for getting one just at 18 and not having reached an orgasm during sex makes me want to blame everything.

I know of a lady who currently has them.

She "refuses" sex full stop due to the pain.

We're slightly connected there if you understand my meaning off course, the pain will affect your "mind" and therefore, your orgasm.

7 years is way too long to have this, way too long... It's time to re-check and get that dealt with..

I'm sorry you've put up with this for so long, at 25 you need to be free sweet

Go and have this looked at and fixed.
