My sex drive is back!
& i didn't even realize it was gone! well i don't think it was gone but really low. me & my hubby will have been married 3 years in may. wen we first married i was on a birth control (i had been on it a year b4 we got married, i don't remember the name). after 2 years of being on it, i changed birth control (i don't remember y). i switched to the mirena, had issues & so i got on yaz. took that for a year & a half. now i'm using the patch. well i just put the puzzle together. i recently changed to the patch due to dryness issues. well looking back at the timing of everything, i do believe the yaz lowered my sex drive alot! around the time i went on yaz, i started to feel like i didn't want to do it as often. i just thought it was normal that after some time in marriage my sex drive wouldn't b as strong, & i put it down to that being the reason. but with since i switched to the patch, it's like i feel alive again.
the patch has a down side, i believe it is the source of my sore nips but i can live with that. i feel like having a parade! it's back, it's back, it's back!!!!

Congrats!! yaz did the same to me but im still trying to get back what it took away lol.

Pretty much dryness was my main issue and actually have a sex drive was an issue! So i switched and its slowly getting better...
Could you tell me a bit more about the patch?

c i had dryness too, since i got off of yaz.....that has disappeared.
yeah, the patch can only go 3 or 4 places on ur body. i chose my shoulder blade. at first it is really annoying but after some time u forget it is there. i think it is durable, i toss & turn alot in my sleep & it doesn't even effect it at all, the edges don't even come up. it gets little wrinkles around the edges but it's because of the way ur body moves, i was worried at first but the little wrinkles don't make it ne less sticky. i have a slight problem with adhesives having long term contact with my skin, i usually get big red welps that itch, this does itch a little but has not caused welps, so that's a plus if u have the same problem. the only things that i'm not a fan of is, it leave a little sticky residue around the edges as the week goes on, but it is nothin u can't clean off. o & i think it makes my nips sore, but if u can live with it, no problem. during foreplay they r a bit sore but for me as things progress, the tenderness seems to reduce alot. otherwise i love it, i feel more drive to have sex & no more dryness!

I'd still love to find out why my wife simply can't get into the mood.

We've talked about it but she just goes to beating herself up. She doesn't want to talk it through.

Could the soreness be related to what you've been doing since your sex drive returned?

haha yeah, i thought that myself, but wen they started hurting we weren't having sex yet, so unless he had been giving my titty twister in my sleep, it wasn't him haha
