Default Slowing Aging ... With Semen

Now don't get mad....Just read a small article in TIME Magazine about the possible benefits of semen. Feb. 22, 2010, on the "How to live longer" articles.

Was just wondering, from the ladies who do consume semen to the ladies who don't....

Ladies, that do regularly, Do you notice a difference in how you feel after, compared to when you haven't for awhile?

I read a lot of articles over health....And have also read...But don't remember which medical article it was...that it may also help with skin dysfunctions. scalp, dry skin, things like that. Again, for those who do regularly...Do you have any skin problems or not? siryesis <(Spelling stinks, sry), Dry Skin patches, things like that.

Not a lot of information on the article and I know that I am going to upset some with this questions....sry. No, I will not show it to my SO and say, See, it helps you too...lol I'm not that thick. Would I consider taking a pill that would help that contains semen...yes I would, if it helps. Would I self medicate...sry....That would be another issue. And my SO would have to help...i guess. I think we would have fun with it, but she can't get passed that issue, along with a lot of others.

Just curious.....And feel free to roll your eyes and shake your head.

I've had a few discussions about this with a big BJ fan . You can look up the general chemical make up of ejaculate, although there should be some variation dependant on diet and health.

I've heard the theory advanced that ejaculate contains some testosterone and vitamin E that women who have sex more frequently, generally have a higher drive because of the addtional testosterone. I would think that would be very hard to support. I'm horny whether I get sex or not, although several sessions of lousy sex will damped my interest, at least with that partner. There are those who have promoted the use of testostrone to increase sex drive - certainly this works for men with low levels and may for some women. I figure its a, "can't hurt, might help" so why not. Personally I don't need an excuse or justification for more sex - just a willing partner I'm attracted to. As we have heard here repeatedly, those can be harder to find than you'd think.

    Thanks for the response, Wildchild.
But I'm not asking if it increases your sex drive. Looking at the health benefits.

    Thanks again.

You can do a search on this, here is what I found:
    "the recipe
varies considerably from individual to individual. You might say that
the exact chemical and nutritional composition depends upon the
    manufacturer.
    Composition of Semen
According to Sandor Gardos, Ph.D, the former About Sexuality Guide, it
contains very modest quantities of the following substances...

ascorbic acid, blood-group antigens, calcium, chlorine, cholesterol,
choline, citric acid, creatine, deoxyribonucleic acid, fructose,
glutathione, hyaluronidase, inositol, lactic acid, magnesium,
nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, purine, pyrimidine, pyruvic acid,
sodium, sorbitol, spermidine, spermine, urea, uric acid, vitamin B12,
    and zinc."
"Seminal fluid... is composed of dozens of chemical components. The
base of seminal fluid is primarily fructose (sugar) and proteins, with
many other trace minerals and substances. Here's a listing of some of
    semen's ingredients:

    Sugars: Fructose, sorbitol, inositol
Proteins and amino acids: glutathione, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), creatine
Minerals: Phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, calcium, potassium
Vitamins: Ascorbic acid (vitamin C), vitamin B12, choline
    Hormones: Testosterone, prostaglandins
Body byproducts: Lactic acid, urea, uric acid, nitrogen...

Semen is a source of highly concentrated, high-quality protein. In
dietary terms, it's comparable to egg whites or gelatin. Besides
protein, semen contains high concentrations of some minerals, such as
zinc, and trace amounts of other important nutrients, like calcium and
    magnesium."

I perform oral to completion VERY frequently with my boyfriend.

I lead a very healthy lifestyle already so it would be hard to say if his ejaculate plays a role in my overall well-being or not. I kind of doubt there is enough nutrients in it to make a difference or to make it a selling point to women that don't like to do it.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.

I think I love swallowing enough that perhaps I will live longer if only to be able to do it more. Lol~

Here is some of the article....

Hold your laughter. It's not the setup for a joke. Austrian researchers believe that a compound in human semen can have a dramatic impact on life span. Biochemists Frank Madeo and Tobias Eisenberg at the University of Graz led a team to test the effects of a substance known as spermidine. In yeast, spermidine was shown to increase life span by as much as a factor of four; in fruit flies, up to 30%; and in worms, up to 15%. When spermidine was applied to human immune cells, they too lived longer, with three times as many surviving after 12 days as in a comparison batch.
Spermidine works, the researchers show, by promoting the cellular process of autophagy — a kind of self-cleaning that, Eisenberg says, "removes cellular garbage such as clumped proteins or damaged or defective cellular organelles." Those things might otherwise harm the body.

But what does that mean for people? Men generally don't live as long as women. Haven't heard any evidence that gay men live longer.

I say we test this theory by having men swallow their own semen for a few decades.
