Default Decreasing refractory period (recovery after orgasm) in men?

Is it possible to decrease the refractory period in men? What I mean is, is there anything a couple could do together to decrease the recovery time for him?

I just read that a man can maintain control of the muscles around the prostate (as they would control the flow of urine), so that when they orgasm they decrease the refractory period. *Removed outbound link*

    Anyone have experience with this?

recovery time is different for all men and at differnt times. Lately, I've been ready right after I'm finished...other times, I'm just greatful for finishing. No secret. What I have heard is that pills that are suppose to make men larger (lots of different brands) help with the so called 5 minute wait time. Don't know if it's true or not.

If I was given the opportunity to go again and the Johnson wasn't ready. I think foreplay would be fun until J-son was ready, and if he never got ready, I think foreplay would still be fun.

    Wait...if it's after sex....is it called Postplay????

While I have not experimented specifically with reducing refractory times, the only thing that I can say that has worked to decrease my own was a compassionate partner. Refractory time varies greatly in men from a few minutes to several days. I've heard of a few rare men that could even ejaculate twice without losing their erection. Generally, the refractory period becomes longer with age. Since ejaculation is pretty much an involuntary reflex, I'm not sure how much control a man could exert over this... if he even wanted to.

I think all men are different, and also will be different every time. My ex b/f would consider himself a 'once a night man' but recenlty at a swingers party came three times (much to his delight). Also on occasion if I was giving him head I could get him off twice by just continuing on gently afterwards and building him up again. But it's all dependent on his state of miind, how tired he was etc etc

I'm no expert but I doubt there's a way to make this a constant thing - a recovery period that always the same. We're not machines

Well going off of what I read a long time ago, bananas r good because after orgasm, you're losing potassium. So that could give you a boost. Or as i do with my husband, A BIG OLE MANLY SANDWICH! Food is always good for that as well. Hope that helps some.

Have him do Kegels...Yes, men can do them too to help with strengthening muscle...a little different for men. Tighten up the muscle that stops urination. Also, If you want to work on recovery time...you guys have to continuelly work on it. Kind of like a work out routine.
If you don't practice what you preach, you will lose it.

The only reason I can do 300 sit-ups know is because I was able to do 100, then 150, 200 and finally 300...my goal is 500 without stopping. It's a routine your body has to get use too. Do I do 300 everyday...no...but when I push my self...tada.

And I agree with what MissMe, Lilahx, and, mav said too. Every man is different and every time is too.

    Good Luck, Dog
