    Default painful sex?

    me and my boyfriend used to have sex about 3 times a day on friday saturday and sunday. lately i have been going to his house one or two days a week and sometimes after sex once on one day i cant even have it in two days without it being really painful. this has never happened before and its been happening for one or two months. he was a virgin and i got checked for stds so i doubt its anything like that. its really hurting our relationship because he thinks i may be sleeping around . anyone have any advice?

    What kind of hurts? Muscle pain after? Burns when you pee after? Pain during?

    Has anything changed about the sex you are having when you do have sex? Is he rougher?

    And if he's accusing you of cheating then think about saying something like this to him; you were checked for STDs and have been faithful, something has changed, you have just as much right to suspect him as he has to suspect you.

    Really, my only advice at this point is to go to a doctor and have a full downstairs check up. It seems, from what you say, that there is no pain during sex after a break of 5 days, but subsequent sex the next day hurts - that pretty much rules out vaginismus (tightness during penetration causing pain) as with that all sex would be painful. It really is best to get a gynaecologist to verify there is nothing wrong.

    If you get a clean bill of health then you might consider trying kegels - muscle flexing exercises for your pelvic floor muscles that tone and condition the vagina. You might also consider gentle penetration with a small to medium dildo on the days you are not with your boyfriend to condition your vagina to daily penetration in a non-painful way.

    That's the best I can do really. I've never seen your problem before - I've known women with that issue from the get go, but no one who developed it.

    Recap: Don't let your man bully you about cheating - you know you haven't. Go see a doctor to be on the safe side.

    Let us know how you get on.
    Now let us sport us while we may; / And now, like am'rous birds of prey,
    Rather at once our time devour, / Than languish in his slow-chapp'd power.
    Let us roll all our strength, and all / Our sweetness, up into one ball;
    And tear our pleasures with rough strife / Thorough the iron gates of life.
    Thus, though we cannot make our sun / Stand still, yet we will make him run.
