    Default Penetration problems

I am so glad I found this. I know it may be old, but I really hope someone can help.

I have been with my partner for four years and we haven't been able to have sex.
I went to psychosexual counselling and they said I had Vaginismus, and gave me dilators to use. I used them up to the largest size and gave myself plenty of time before trying sex. I just tried to have sex again, it felt right, i was relaxed, turned on, but it didn't work. It's just such an immense pain, and he barely gets inside me before it's all too much. It's like he's too big or my opening is too small.

Please can i have some advice. I feel like a failed woman.

    Is your hymen still intact?

I thought it would be broken, because I have been using the dilators, but the only thing I can think of is that the hymen is too thick?

You can make an appointment with your doctor to have a look at it. From what I understand, you can have it surgically opened. Ladies, correct me if I'm wrong.

Im pretty sure your right Sourpuss. If i remember right, a girl in the year below me had to have her hymen sorted by a doctor because it semi-opened, and gradually became sore. or something along those lines.
