Default Can I learn to orgasm in other positions?

    Hi everyone,

I'm new here and am hoping to get some tips and advice.

I'm 26 and in a serious relationship. I have always needed to have my legs open very wide in order to orgasm - I think so my partner can hit all of my sensitive spots. This has never presented a problem, but recently my rheumatoid arthritis (which I've had since age 2) has moved into my hips and suddenly opening my legs is becoming both painful and difficult.

The pain can sometimes be so distracting I can't reach orgasm, and my partner is worried about hurting me even more than I already do.

The last time I had sex, I was really enjoying myself and thought I was getting close to climaxing - and then my hips started to hurt so much I had to ask him to stop.

Can I learn to orgasm in other positions? What can I do? I hate the idea of my arthritis affecting my sex life like this.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can share.

    H

This used to be my favorite until I discovered Doggie style. In my opinion it is even better.

Do you orgasm from manual or oral clitoral stimulation? Those would allow you to place your hips where they are the most comfortable. As far as from penetration, maybe a closed leg spooning position or legs slightly apart supported by a pillow, with manual stimulation would work. If doggy style is a problem, you can flatten out with your legs slightly spread for a more relaxing position.
