    Default Can the sex last?

My girlfriend and I have been together for 2 years. We are in our 30's and we still have sex 3-4 times a week and when we are not having sex she will still pleasure me most every other night of the week. I Love it! My sex drive is so high and I want her all the time. To me she is so hot and desireable. Thing is I am always the initiater. I don't feel she shares my level of desire. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't take alot of convincing or begging, she is always willing but I can't tell if she is just going along to make me happy or what. Once we are in the act she gets into it and usually climaxes. Now I KNOW there are All kinds of variables to consider here. Is she tired/long day? Foreplay? Am I sweet to her? Do I rub her back and am I romantic? We have pretty stress free jobs and no children. I do massage her often which she is crazy about. So I suppose my question is.....can this last? Can she keep it up? I suppose I can accecpt things as they are (her not initiating and ripping my clothes off like a wild woman) but will she be willing to keep it going? I hope so cause it's Great right now and I'd hate to see it end.

Okay, I voted both 2-3 and 4-5 for how much I want, not have...

I think you should talk to her, tell her how much you enjoy your sex life, but you wonder if she's just as into it as you are, or if she's just doing it to please you? Chances are she is just as into it, but if you've always been the initiator, she's just going along with it. I would LOVE to initiate it more, but my bf and I have actually talked about it, and I'm basically not allowed to because he doesn't want to feel pressured. I need to wear some of my lingerie sometime though, so I'm eventually going to take my chances! Sorry for my tangent... I DO think your awesome sex life can last, and I hope it does for you!!

We can only guess why she doesn't initiate. Why don't you ask her? Maybe not directly like "HEY you why don't you initiate sex, woman!" Hehe. But maybe something like, "You know, I get sooo hot fantasizing about you kissing/touching me when I'm not expecting anything. Could you surprise me like that some time?" I dunno, something to that effect.

When you say she pleasures you during the non-sex days, how exactly does that happen? Do you ask to be pleasured? Do you pleasure her in return?

Can it last? In every relationship there is a 'honeymoon' period when you want sex all the time when pheramones go crazy and this does tone down. Unfortunately, if you read many of the threads here many women lose interest in sex for various reasons. Sometimes the initial 'buzz' we mistake for love is really just lust and when that wears off there is nothing left emotionally and the desire to have sex just isn't there anymore. Unfortunatley there is no way of knowing what will happen until it does (or doesn't).

Not every woman is capable of being a 'sex godess' and being the aggressor. If that's just not her personality there isn't much you can do to change it. It may be her upbringing, her beliefs, lack of self-confidence, any number of reasons. As already mentioned, the best thing any couple can do for their sex life is TALK - honestly, openly and without judgement.

    Hi Rod
I would surely prefer Viagra for a loving couples like you as it is said that when love overflows sex happens, but you guys have to be very careful while going for Viagra. You have to get clear answers for some of the questions like,

*What are the benefits of the product?
*Does it contain any drugs that will harm your hormones in future?
    *Does it contain stimulants?
*Does it has any side effects reported?
*Since when are they manufacturing the product?
    *what are the ingredients added?
*Value for your money, ie does it guarantees a money back?

The link was removed because they are not allowed. You have been notified a couple of different ways of this rule, neither is advertising.

They are allowed in some forums, however, they are not allowed here and users will be banned for using them. I suggest you read the FAQ's thoroughly if you want to avoid being banned.

I don't know if it can last, it will depend on how well you communicate. She may honestly be happy with it all but just doesn't initiate it over other reasons you could discuss. She could be doing it to make you happy, which is alright as long as you give back the same.

I don't know about honeymoon periods, I still feel I could have sex daily with the same man after 4 years and if it was up to me it would be that way. If it wasn't for him being one-sided our relationship would be a constant honeymoon.

Perhaps one of the two always slows down at some point, or it's all about finding the right chemistry or similar needs. It's also about how the other perceives and values sex, initiation, intimacy. It's also common that when marriage comes to the picture then sex becomes something that "has to be done" for some and makes them lose interest in it. Others can become so secure in trusting in their partner that they take him for granted and when the "hunting season" is over then the passion is gone with it. Everyone is different but it's all about communicating and trying to keep what you have, instead of letting it vanish because of emotional security.
