Default Trouble Orgasming in the morning/when I wake up

I have been in a relationship for almost a year now, and the sex has always been fantastic. The problem is, lately I've been having trouble getting to orgasm in the morning. I don't know why this suddenly happened, and what makes it worse is that my guy loves having morning sex! It's not that I don't enjoy it either- it feels great, but I'm just having trouble "getting there" in the morning. I've been on the pill for almost 2 years, could that be affecting it? Has anyone else ever had this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it? Help!

I'm not much on 'first thing in the morning' sex usually. Usually wake feeling dehydrated and like I've been sleeping with an old sock in my mouth.
Only thing I can suggest is that you listen to your own body, don't see your orgasm as a goal, but rather as a nice thing if it happens. Relax. As you say, you can still enjoy the closeness, touching & loving your SO. Make love and if the O comes welcome it.
Oh, reill.. IDK. Have always used other contreceptives.

I woke up feeling exactly that way yesterday, but the reason was clear, and it had to do with the night before. lol
My close friend, however, wakes up in a very amorous mood daily, and won't take "I'm sleepy" for an answer!
She has no problem with orgasm, but then, she's not on the pill. She did once mention that she seems much more interested in sex since she stopped taking it.

I agree! I was on the pill for 7 years and have been without it for almost a year and a 1/2 now and I've noticed a HUGE incline in my sex drive. As for the morning sex I've never had a problem, but some of my friends have told me that they feel pressure in the morning just because they know they have to be up by a certain time or should be getting ready or whatever the case is. So maybe that is on your mind???
