Haven't really commented since the beginning of the thread, but am now jumping back in. I now am of the majority opinion that yeah, the checkup is really necessary at this point.

One thing I would now recommend is that your dr. do a full blood work which includes tests for B-12 and D-3. I say this because as many would know the trials and tribulations of my last 3 years or so in dealing with my wife having virtually no sex drive at all and even less interest in having any sort of intimate relations with me she went to a different dr. last week and she had a battery of tests done which was not done at any time prior. Found out that her hormone levels were normal, but she was B-12 and D-3 defficient. Doing a bit of research (I know dangerous on my part) that this can have similar effects as to some of the symptoms associated with low libido and perimenopause.
