im in a bit of a tricky situation. my boyfriend wants to have sex with me in the doggy style position. we've done this before, but this time i need to make him think i am bored during the sex (long story). any suggestions on how i can seem bored during doggy style?

How about actually telling him how you feel about the position? That you don't wanna do it or whatever the reasoning is. Playing 'bored' just, I don't know, rubs me the wrong way.

having said that...just don't move, don't say anything, maybe an occasional sigh, but kind of underplay it, then ask him if he's done yet like your annoyed he's taking so long, maybe move on to mentioning what else you have to do after and that your waiting on him.
