Yea you definitely need to ask yourself. My boyfriend will be dating a year in 2 days and we had sex after only 2 months. I love him to death and i know how it feels to want to have it your first time!

Don't do it unless you are ready. If you are ready though, ask him to not penetrate you directly while you're not yet wet...maybe a lubricant can be helpful.
You have to remember though that once you've crossed the line, there's no turning back. So make sure you won't regret it.
