How do women feel about this? I would think, particularily for oral, women would like a "cleaner" surface to work with.

Not a fan of Tarzan or swamp creature going on down below so yes it is a "cleaner" surface to be working with. And its nice to actually fully see what I am working with.

Personally, I don't like all this shaving business.
I trim and prefer a man just trimmed. That cuts way down on the random hair in your mouth. I'm a natural woman and want a natural man. But then I'm not all that hairy to begin with, if I were, I might feel differently. Even peoples who aren't very hairy (Native Americans come to mind) have pubic hair. Children are hairless. I'm not a child and don't want a man who seems to be trying to look like one or who wants me to look like one.

I agree with WildChild! I am in love with a man, not a boy~~but he does let me give him a little trim now and then, just to keep things under control...
Yes completely bare is a bit much, I was just talking about trimming and maybe shaving the perneium and scrotum down to nothing.
I'm with WC - trimmed is sufficient.
I don't understand the shaving issue either. It seems in my experience that the younger generation doesn't like hair at all. I've had several younger 20ish female friends and they just cringe at the thought of a man if he's to hairy especially if he has a hairy chest. My husband has one and I love it, turns me on at just the sight of it ....... I'd have a fit if he were to shave it.
There is a method to my madness ........ I just haven't found it yet.
Yeah I would agree, I am 21 and the thought of a hairy chest does make me cringe. I like to rub his chest and back and if it feels like I am petting a hairball then I am not going to enjoy it in a relative sense to having smooth skin to stroke. But on the other hand if he has hair on his arms, legs or armpit then I really do not care.It seems in my experience that the younger generation doesn't like hair at all.
