Red face Emotional attachment to sex!

    OK guys, I need you!!

On a sexual level, do guys get as emotionally attached as ladies do???

Just wondering. Me, I feel totally connected to my partner on a whole other level. He says it makes him more jealous of me and he also says that when we are having sex, there is something about the chemistry between us that draws him to me and makes him love me even more. He says that he can't imagine being with anyone else physically or emotionally.

Is he just saying this to get in my pants or do guys really mean it when they say that sex effects them emotionally as well??

I'm sure that it effects them but is it normal to effect them as much as it has with my partner?

When I'm making love with my partner, it just blows me away emotionally and mentally. So yes, if you believe your guy is sincere, it's absolutely possible.

My partner told me once that she didn't feel emotional attachment during our intimacy. When I first read your thread title, I thought it was my original thread being recreated for some reason....funny.

I have recognized some things in my lovemaking that need to be corrected and I hope she feels the same emotional attachment that I do this time.

We went for a very long time without contact or physical intimacy and have just recently started being intimate again.

So to answer your question...I'm not sure that guys get AS emotionally attached as women do, but they can and do get emotionally attached on some level. I know I do.

    Hope this helps.

This seems to be almost like asking if men can love.
Sometimes I've wondered but I know it's a particular man I'm questioning, not all.
There seem to be quite a few women who feel no real connection through sex either.
When two people come together who can share this, they are indeed fortunate.
Hold on to the feeling. There are too many people who never have this bliss.

It's going to depend on the guy. Some will, some won't.

Same thing happens with girls though. After I gave my virginity to the last girl I was with, she said "Are you going to get emotionally attached to me like a girl because I was your first?"

    Yeah, we didn't work out.

lol. Yes I'm kinda attached to sex. Everytime I want to try to have sex with my wife but I can't. Because she is pregnant right now and it is hard to have sex with a big stomach in front of you. So I'll have to wait until the baby is born. :'(

It varies. Not all men are created equal. lol
But in my case, yes! of course!...why not right? or it wouldn't make sense to call it 'love-making'. lol

I bet my bottom dollar, that when a man has a "tart" in the bedroom and a "lady" outside of it, and there is common ground, laughter, he is going to be so emotionally attached that he will not let her out of his sight....

Chemistry is one thing, making a man feel like a "man" and him making her feel like a "woman" holds a lot of emotions in my opinion..

I think if a man connects, (not ohh baby that was good) but really connects, then he is filled with love as the bond becomes 1 instead of 2....

Thanks for all the feedback! I do feel lucky to have someone that loves me beyond measure. He is exceptional in everyway. I just always had the idea that men had no emotional connection to sex, because of the fact that some run around with a different girl all the time. My man says that he doesn't want anyone else, ever. There is an amazing amount of bliss when we make love and just the feeling of his skin against mine takes me to new heights. He is affectionate outside the bedroom too. Tells me how beautiful i am every day, all that good stuff.

I was just wondering about how men connect like that, cuz like i said i grew up with a brother who had a different girl in his room every other night it seemed like.

He clearly wasn't even looking for a connection there, he saw the women as objects and that's essentially how he treated them. That's different when it comes to dating, and of course some guys are just like that and some guys are never like that.

Is it rare to feel extreme attachment to your partner, like that is the ONLY person that turns you on, or does this happen is all relationships.

So many questions, so little time...
