    Default Smelly Down There...

My wife is ALWAYS (for 21 years now that I know of) really smelly down there. Even right after showering. What could it be? Is it a hygene thing or something in her diet? I have seen douch kits in the bathroom so I suppose she uses them. What IS IT? Any ideas?

It could be her diet or it could be an infection... Does she go to the gyno on a regular basis for paps, etc.?

Actually douching and/or using deodorant products in vaginal area can upset the natural balance and cleaning process. She would probably be better off to ditch that stuff, get some cotton undies, no panty hose or tight pants, drink lots of water, eat natural yogurt, lots of salads (no iceberg) and I'll bet she'll start smelling a whole lot sweeter.

You have to be more descriptive there are different smells that can indicate different things. While diet can affect the smell only things like aspergus (sp) would make it a little sour down there and pineapple juice would make it sweeter. but liquor and beer and smoking will affect it some not much. If it smells musty she could just be a bigger women and need to put either powder or deoderant in that crevice area of her thighs, Now if her actual vagina smells different smells indicate different infections she will need to go to the gyno to get a definate answer but a bad smell isnt too normal. If it smells like trash its hard to explain this smell but the best i can do it like a trash can on a hot day, this usually indicates a bacteria infection, you also need to look at her discharge with the bacteria infection it will look more watery or frothy, yeast will be like cottage cheese, there are other things too like you can actually get strep through your whole body and this can affect it, but she will have to get that test done at the docter, also if your are ejaculating in her alot this can change her smell, but since you said for 21 years this prob isnt the case, and you didnt say anything about her being itchy or raw down there if it was a bacteria infection she should be itching or raw, so I would tell her gently so she can go to the docter and have him test for everything you have to ask for the step test they usually dont just do that upfront they always do std test

No offense intended, but "vag" has a distinct smell, you may not be a fan of it. I like my wife 8-24 hours removed from a bath the same way i like her fresh out the shower, and there is a distinct odor.*removed rude remark*
