Exclamation OK so there we were... then... SURPRISE!

Ok ladies, here is one you can definately help me with. I have ZERO experience with it and I would think that lots of you do.

Last night my wife started eluding to how much she liked how I always keep it clean, neat, and trimed. Then she started to tell me that she is going to try the Brazillian thing... ok, woohoo! sounds awesome! Lucky me!

THEN, she suggested that I try it also, because though she likes me being trimmed she would like to see me totally bare. Well, in the midst of passion, as you know, we will pretty much agree to anything and thusly, I'm now scheduled for a Brazillian wax next Friday.

Just how uncomfortable is this? I've got a few tattoos and I cant imagine it being more painfull than that, and to me tattoos really aren't that painful. Now, I dont have any tattoos on my penis either, and I'm sure that makes a difference, but by how much? I have no idea.

Also, I'm supposed to go hunting on Saturday (the day after)... Is this going to be a problem for me?

Sheesh, what I get myself into sometimes

I've had both brazilian and tattoos, and I would say that the brazilian hurts much, much more than the tattoo, but it's much quicker and the pain is gone pretty much as quick as it starts. It's fractions of a second of pain at a time, so it's no big deal overall.
Once it's done, the pain is negligible. You might be a bit bruised, but nothing serious at all. Certainly nothing that will interfere with any kind of activity. Mostly you might just be itchy.

My tattoo hurt the next day, the waxing was barely noticeable.

How sweet of you to want to do this for your woman.

Dont do it, if you can help it. I give you a idea of pain for a man. I got a tattoo with over 700Hrs into it (whole back and sides). i also have had over 30 major surgery's do to Clubfeet. the pain from all that is bad and sucks, But she but the wax on me and pulled i turn into the earths biggest baby. just think of 40 yr old virgin, when he waxed his cheat and screamed.

completely different type of pain! It's like pulling a plaster/band aid off but a bit more pinchy!

I didn't think it hurt that much to be honest! I was expecting more. As for the tattoo pain, I liked that pain

An experienced waxer will make it hurt less, as long as you keep the skin taught it'll be ok!

Exactly, I mentioned that I felt that it was worse than tattoo pain, but only for an instant, but even then, the pain is more than manageable and it's over so quick that it doesn't even matter. Overall, I found the tattoo experience much more unpleasant because the needle pain is steady and it persists afterward.

I forgot to suggest to take a few advil before hand, it will help prevent swelling during the waxing.
Also, since the pain is only for a moment, biting down on something in the moment they pull can be extremely effective for blunting the sensation.

Really, don't stress, many women after their first time go back and get it done regularly, so remember that it can't be that bad.

Grab a drink beforehand, chill out, and enjoy the adventure of having some woman smear hot wax on you, lol

I'd definitely bring something to bite down on when you go.

But everyone here's right - it won't hurt for very long. It's actually kind of cute that you two are doing this together...in a naughty way.

Update: I understand that something was mixed up with their scheduling, because they called my wife today to reschedule.
Not sure if it's good news or bad but the date has been moved up to this SUNDAY - Yikes. I guess thats better than worrying for a week how bad it will be, as I can get it over with quicker - and still go hunting next Saturday! YES!
Bad news is - Its only a day away, and now I'm $&!##!*& bricks! :0)

Should make for a fun Sunday night though. lol or is everything too sensative for any fun on the same night?

    **********

Thanks everyone for your input (sincerely) as knowing in advance helps.

    * B. Disaster - Not sure if I was quite ready to read your post - kinda worried again now (hehehe)

    * Travis - Your post just scared the heck out of me. lmao

    * Shweedart - My wife says she chose this place because they are all experienced and know what they are doing. (personally, I think its because she probably knows someone in there or something) & I actually agree that Tattoo pain is somewhat addictive in a good way - I think its the endorphine rush or something.

    * Bellalla - Thanks for the heads-up on the Advil - sounds like a good idea. Is it ok, to have a drink beforehand? I know with Tattoos thats a no-no, as it makes you bleed more, but I can't really see anything that would preclude my having a couple beforehand in waxing right?

    * MINAC - She tried setting it up so I could be in the room when she gets done and she could be in the room when I get done , but apparently that is a huge taboo in this place and they were strickly against it. Also, you and Bellalla kinda cracked me up with the whole bring something to bite down on thing - you are joking right? Sounds like something you would see in a Clint Eastwood or John Wayne flick... Not like I'm having an arrow pulled outta my chest or anything

Anyhow, again thanks for the suggestions - I don't foresee myself going to tears or anything like that, I'm pretty darned good with pain, just kinda wanted to know what to expect. If anyone is interested, I'll give a report on it afterwards.

You could bleed. I mean they are ripping melted wax, well more like molten glue, off of you. Try a shot but not a lot of them lol.
