Thread: Help with an embarrassing question!

Well, a fun way to solve the problem would be to buy a flea comb from the pet store and have your partner comb them out.

But seriously, I believe cat fleas do not live on humans, though they will bite us. Treat the animal and your house and the problem will be solved.

My vet told me fleas don't really like people. They prefer to live on pets and most fleas won't survive on humans... that's not to say it's impossible and you should definitely check, but I'm pretty sure they don't like living on people. Like everyone else said, they are small but they're not so small you can't see 'em. You should be able just to look around and see them if they are there. We could see them on my white cat.
