Default Help with an embarrassing question!

I have a really embarrassing question I need help with. I recently found out that my kitty has fleas. Now I'm sure some of you are wondering what this has to do with this forum. Well, the problem is that I like to sit around and watch t.v. sometimes when I am naked. The other day I noticed that I'm very itchy in my pubic area. I'm pretty sure that it isn't crabs, so I'm wondering if you can get a flea infestation in your pubic hair?

    Help please?

I've never heard of people getting fleas before, but I suppose it would be possible. I think fleas are bigger than crabs are. Can you look around down there and see if you see any bugs moving around?

Not sure if shaving is an option, my BF likes a full natural bush, so to speak.

That's how God made us. Natural is always the best way to go.

He's probably not going to like it if you have bugs in there though. I don't want to give you bad advice, but maybe you should get one of those flea killing remedies at CVS.

Look in the mirror to see if you have fleas.. if you shave or "contour" the hair in that area you may just have dry skin... and should try some lotion... especially in the winter and drier months

Going with what CandieBear said, I forget who it was on here who said it, but someone said they liked Jergen's self-tanning lotion...not only will your feminine area be moisturized, but it will be nice and tan, too. I'm sure your guy would love it!

You can check and see if you have them. Look closely. If you see little black bugs...and they are very hard to remove...fleas. I'd quietly talk to the pharmacist and ask if there is something that would be safe for you to use in that area. Be careful if you do so you don't end up with a chemical burn.

Well you could tie a flea collar around each leg... No just kidding, those are dangerous for people. Based on a quick Internet search, I found conflicting information. But from having pets, I do know that fleas are visible to the naked eye. So have your BF take a close look down there, parting the hair and seeing if he spots any jumpers. I think that a brief discussion with your pharmacist is a good suggestion. Pharmacists usually know more about treatment than do Dr's and the consulation is free.
