Default How to deal with a sicky dream?

I dreamed a dream that panicked me badly. In my dream one of my uncles making love to me. I do not know how it happened, though I never imagined my uncle doing this to me.

In my dream I was all alone lounging on my sofa with my parents out. (Edit)I just woke up aghast and was in a bad mood all day. I could not face my uncle. I do not know hot to interpret this pervert, my own uncle penetrating inside me. This dirty thing, unimaginable.

I do not how the rest deal with or understand such horrible dreams.

Ok I'll bite Wanton even though from reading on this forum it would appear you like to stir just a little.....

Why is it dirty or unimaginable to you, is he not good looking, too old or is it that hes your uncle? Or is it because the dream is a manifestation of a desire you refuse to openly acknowledge?

In the case of him being your uncle all I have to say is in some (in mine anyway not sure on the others) countries its perfectly legal to MARRY your uncle, so you may well be thinking something is taboo that really isnt. Unless you count how society looks on such relationships even though perfectly legal.

You didnt say he forced you, so in your dream was the sex consensual? Were you enjoying it?

If its legal and you're both free why not get the demon out of your system - do something about it.

Dreams are many times "what if" scenarios played by the subconscious. They can reinforce behaviors or expand them to new territory. You also have to look at your own highly sexually charged state to realize why you are dreaming such dreams.

To interpret your dream I would need information on your uncle. What is his nature: aggressive, suggestive, passive, what? Is he an uncle through marriage or a blood relation? What is your relationship with him?

If he was aggressive and there is a strong taboo against relationships with close family members, such as at the uncle level, the dream may reinforce the taboo status. Such a relationship is not possible in real life, then playing out that scenario will bring to the front any issues and will effectively lay them to rest. Alternately, it may explore a relationship that is not possible, because of underlying attraction issues.

Other relationships with him and/or he being of a different nature would lead to different interpretations.

We dream or fantasize of many things. It isn't the same as doing it. Often times it is a way of exploring something safely. Quit trying to find ways to think of yourself as an awful person.

It occurs to me that you have made a number of statements about being more free in your thinking than is usual in your society and that you cannot be restrained over much. Then you do things that you condem yourself for. You may have some guilt feelings about being sexually active that you aren't aware of and hence you are creating behaviors that you can express guilt about. Give this some consideration? If what you are doing by having a sexual relationship with a man you care for is not a source of guilt or wrongness, quit finding other ways to be sexually wrong.

Dreams are just dreams. They are mostly meaningless.

Wanton, you started a thread on incest that I closed...

It was about your Uncle and there you were dreaming of him in a "good way"...Here your counteracting it, so please explain...
