I have been experiencing shooting pains in my cervix everytime I have an orgasm. It seems to be the only time this happens. I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago. Any ideas what could be causing this????
Thanks!

I once read that hormone imbalance and birth control can cause this sort of discomfort during sex. I was on Depo Provera which causes low progesterone levels and one of the side effects is painful intercourse. You might ask for a hormone test. I used to experience the same thing after having an orgasm. There may also be something else going on in there. You should probably see a gynecologist.
