Default Nerve damage after LEEP surgery - Burning during intercourse - How to fix?

My wife had a Leep procedure in August 2007. Ever since this procedure she has had a burning pain during sex. Up until a month ago we didnt really know what was the problem. Now we know the cause. My wife was reading one of her nursing books for nursing school and it had a small paragraph discussing nerve damage after the leep procedure. All of the symptoms of this fit. How do we treat nerve damage after a leep procedure?

Symptoms: burning during sex, the rubbing is what does it. Burning is on the canal of the vagina not on the outside or cervix.

Question: How do we treat this if it is nerve damage from the LEEP surgery? What doctor should she see for this issue?

Go back to the original doctor that referred the surgeon.
Vitamin B12 and fish oil for the nerves and pain might help- time is the best healer of nerves.
    Good luck
