I am 5'5" and 130lbs. 28 years old. I was skinny as a rail all growing up and then started to very slowly put on weight some time after age 24. I ended up being 150lbs. I personally didn't think I looked "bad" or anything, but noticed my butt starting to get dimply (all my weight goes to butt and thighs). I liked th way my butt looked in clothes. I got compliments ALL the time, but I didn't like the dimples that were showing up. So I went on a diet for the first time ever and lost 20lbs. My husband was NOT happy at all because my butt got way smaller! Haha! That 20lbs seriously came right off my butt. So I stopped dieting and tried to gain just a little of the weight back, but I must have kicked in my metabolism because I can't gain weight no matter what I eat. Lucky I guess. But my hubby really misses my big butt. I do too at times. So I agree that curvy butts are IN. My man loves the butt. Haha!

    Hello AFemaleProdigy-

It is nice to finally meet you.

You are right about it being about what you are comfortable with. Your size is probably about the average size women. You have curves. A woman should have curves....not be built like an eight year old boy. As I said before as long as your fit and healthy.

No one should....the media included....should tell you you're not sexy! Or you have to look a different way to be beautiful. Or I'll go one further even....dictate to your husband and other straight men that a real woman's curves are not what they should desire. Your husband obviously loves those curves and you as well. Thank goodness some people have the mind to think for themselves.
Life is a journey and I would not trade the journey for the knowledge! Be Blessed!!!

    Default I've got butt

Yeah, I am never going to be skinny again. The last time I was actually skinny was about 10 mins. in the 80's! I was skinnier a few times....but now am on the round side but shapely and I am happy with it and so is my SO, as far as I know. I mean, he does think I could stand to lose a few pounds, but nothing major. He loves curves. However, I do know that some men love thin women too. No accounting....
