Exclamation Is your orgasm physical or psychological

Is your orgasm physical and/or psychological? It's thought women usually have one or the other. If so which is better? If it's not too intrusive please describe the sensations you feel physically and emotionally when you climax? Thanks Ladies.

    Exclamation Looking for answers!!!

Medically there is no concrete definite answer to where the female orgasm fluid comes from. Ladies we, our sexual parteners, and doctors just know we get wet. The origin of the wetness as well as the orgasm fluid is thought to be the Skene's gland. It is known that a significant percentage of women do not have physical orgasms. Why? Can it be corrected? Every drug is availible for the pensis. What about us. Sometimes empirical observations and input leads to the answer and is better than science. How little is known about this topic and our bodies is puzzling and distrubing. How many aspects of the male orgasm are left unanswered - ZERO! Surely if we can take the time to discuss what doesn't make our butt's bigger or 3some's, an answer with integrity to this question might help women and medical science understand. Thanks.

I believe it is both psychological and physical. I know if I try to concentrate too hard and just trying to cum, i basically psych myself out and i cant because im thinking about it too hard. Instead think about how good it feels, ignore everything else around, if the tv is on, turn it off. and think about how sexy your partner is. I know for me, before iI have an orgasm my whole body gets warm and tingly and I can feel the blood rushing to that area, and he does what he can to make it happen. But for me, its def both.

    Default Really??

Sorry, I don't want to come across rude but, think about it

Is an orgasm physical or phychological?

Well can you cum without a physical prompt? No?
    Neither can anyone else sweetheart.

If you were being physically coaxed then, even when you don't want to, it's very likely you'll cum it's definitely more than possible,
Which it very much isnt with thought.

Dont get me wrong, there is a psychological aspect to it, but the fact of the matter is you can't cum with no touch,
    That's why it's called a PHYSICAL reaction!

Hope you found it enlightening x

And what do you think a wet dream is?
Do a search on thinking your self to orgasm. It is very possible.

In general orgasm requires both the physical and mental/emotional componet but it is possible to have with either alone.
I have posted on this many times but studies of women's brain activity has shown that many women who think they have never had an orgasm do in fact orgasm. Their brain activity shows it but they are essentially disconnected from their bodies and fail to recognize it.

The Skeen's glands are the source of the fluid that women ejaculate with a gspot orgasm. General vaginal lubrication comes from the Bartholin's glands. This stuff is not secret information, it is easy to research.

Just chiming in with a case and point.

The Science of Orgasm by Barry R. Komisarak

Orgasm definitions in general are subjective. One person will think that a tingle in the general area of their genitals is an orgasm, another will define orgasm the scientific way with contractions of muscles and release of various hormonal elements. Some will say I was dancing around the fire thinking I was an orgasm fairy and now I am sure I had an orgasm because of it (I read this on a forum once years ago which is why I write this here lol). Whatever your definition, the common thing is that it feels good. And in my personal opinion I experience physical ones. I feel the contractions and the feel good sensations but I oddly rarely think about anything because I am a woman who simply is not aroused by many visual (which plays into imagination fantasies) things. The physical works for me and that is all I personally care about.

Read the heading Seeker, Is your orgasm physical or psychological, it's a broad question not a personal question to be answered directly to the Original Poster....Not all threads are closed due to the date commencing....if there is conversation on the said subject to be had.

Actually, WC has just proven that wrong, a wet dream is not physical, you may argue that "but were where your hands", I have woken up having a small orgasm, to experience it awake, and I certainly didn't have any physical touch, including the bed, laying on a pillow, nothing, nada, I was on my back and was not touching myself.....

    So, yes, others can ......

In fact, I have also experimented with just using my mind and willing the tingles and that's worked too....

Sorry to be the barer of bad news there mam...
