    Default Infectious disease and sexual activity

    Have been diagnosed with MRSA. currently on antibiotic...doxycycline for a 14 day period. I am almost healed. The wound is right at my panty line....is it ok to have intercourse, or should I wait til it is totally healed. I forgot to ask my doc this very important question and it is a saturday...thanks for anyones help

    If people have been told not to go to work, or people have been isolated in hospitals with MRSA, it must be something that can be passed on..

    I would say therefore no, do not have intercourse, until it has fully healed

    Did your Doctor explain how to help provent this and how common it actually is?
