Thread: Vaginal tear during sex. Possible infection???

I wasn't sure where to post this thread. A couple of weeks ago I had sex for the first time. It hurt so much and he didnt even penetrate me all the way. There was some blood after which I know is quite normal for a virgin. The last time we had sex, the skin below my vagina, where the opening is, had torn. The next day it hurt so much to touch. I thought It would heal by itself. It became a little bit itchy which i thought was because it was healing, but today I have had some discharge which was a little bit smelly. It isnt that bad of a smell but I can notice it. I'm not sure if this is related to my tear because the tear is outside my vagina, and I know it isnt a STD. Is there a cream or any other treatment I can use, or should i go straight to the doctor? Im afraid that it has got infected. I have been frequently washing it gently. Thanks for your help in advance

I would suggest seeing the doctor just to be on the safe side
