Thread: Going Commando Alert Is Nonsense

A bunch of major newspapers ran a "Dear Annie" article (easily findable on the Internet) seeking advice about what to do with their college age daughter who supposedly goes commando all the time and just wears a tampon to handle normal secretions even when she normally wouldn't have a need. Is this nonsense? I can't imagine this is true especially because I never heard anything like that at college and my girlfriends and other female friends certainly were not and still aren't shy about discussing anything.

Well there's really nothing wrong with going commando... but if she wears a tampon every day, that must get pretty expensive! Those things aren't really cheap.

That can't be good for her health either........
