    Default Sex and IUD threads

I had sex for the first time after my mirena fitting lst week and my bf seemed horrified about just how obvious my threads were I did warn him.

Is it something you get used to?

We've never had full sex without a condom but on numerous occassions have began without. I knew that he'd feel them in those cases but we then used a thin 'feather light' condom and he could still feel them Now we're using thick, boring, sensationless condoms. Grrr humph.

I'm going for my 6 week check up on Friday 13th so I might need them shortened anyway but even so I bet they're still pretty noticeable.

Lets see, he gets to have no fuss no muss drop of the hat sex with you whenever either of you wants without worry of pregnancy, he can ejaculate inside of you.. and doesn't have to wear those condoms -- and he's b'ing and moaning about the strings? Pshh lol. He will get over it. I'm betting its mental more than physical. The penis doesn't have the tactile dexterity like a finger does... it shouldn't interfere with his sensations or pleasure. See if they can shorten them, and see if he can just get his mind off them.

Never had a problem with this. Certainly talk to the care provider when you have your follow up visit. My guess is that given a little time this will cease to be an issue.
