I have 2 questions:
1. My last period only lasted 3 days. Does that mean something? 2. I am dating a guy who I have known for a while. We just start having sex about a month ago. The first time we had sex was 3 days after my period and then again 3 days later. Before he "got off" he pulled out and "got off" on me. Is there any way that I could become pregnant? I always get this nervous feeling right before I start my period. |

I answered this question in the other thread you posted in. But just want to remind you that any time you have sex, even with a condom or other form of birth control, you can get pregnant. Using birth control and condoms greatly limits the chances of getting pregnant, but not by 100%. Women all over the world get pregnant while using birth control and condoms.
When you are not using a condom, you CAN get pregnant even if he does not ejaculate inside you. Before you even start to have sex, men get excited and release secretions before the actual orgasm. These early secretions, or "precum", can contain sperm and/or STDs. Of course, there would not be as much sperm, but they are there and can very much get you pregnant. So the old "pull-out" method does not garauntee against pregnancy. |

We hadn't had sex until after I had my period which was when it lasted only 3 days. I had ended on a Friday and we had sex that following Sunday as well as that Thursday. So if I were to become pregnant it couldn't have happened before. I would be finding out in the next couple of weeks. Although I am worried. I always get that nervous feeling though around the time I am suppose to start no matter if I have had sex or not. Why?

Well, if you are putting yourself in situations that could lead to pregnancy, of course you will find yourself worrying all the time. But another contributing factor could be the change in hormones making you a bit nervous too. Just remember that you can get pregnant at ANY TIME! Even using birth control. Birth control simply lessens your chances of getting pregnant.
