Default Somebody Please Help! Urgent!!

my boyfriend recently gave me a 'hickie' or a love bite on my shoulder blade, i understand that it is a sort of bruise but i have had it for around a week now and am worrying as next week i am going to a wedding and am wearing a strapless dress and do not want it to still be there!!
could anybody tell me how long they take to dissapear, and, more seriously, if there is any chance of scarring!???!
i'm so worried! please help

It wont leave a mark if you want you could try the old school way and get a spoon stick it in the freezer and hold it on there.

yeah the spoon thing works a little bit.. but also i heard (this kind of hurts though) getting a toothpaste cap push it down and then twist and pull up all around the place where he gave it to you.. it supposedly gets the blood circulating or something idk.. but ive heard it works also.. for the wedding.. just alot of concealers and cover up!! good luck and yeah wear your hair down

hey putting toothpaste on it helps clear it up a bit, i suggest the spoon thing then put toothpaste and repeat this everyday. how long it takes to heal depends on the person, i no my brusies last for ages. just put alot of make up on it on the day, its in an awkward place tho so sorry have no more advice
