Thread: Tearing after sex :/

My boyfriend and I don't have sex too often, but when we do I tend to get a little sore afterwards. I figured it's because I wasn't really active (literally, for a couple of years there was nothing) until we started going out and he's a little bigger than most/all the guys I had been with and I tend to be a little on the dry side.

So sometimes I'm sore and there is a little bit of bleeding going on down there, no biggie. But after we had sex last night I noticed that I actually have a little cut/tear. It's not especially painful, but it's still bleeding anytime I go to the bathroom.

I was just wondering if anyone here had any tips or knows what kind of things I need to do to help, uh, nurse my lady parts back to health. :/

Also: Yes, I am definitely going to look into using some kind of lotions or lubes in the future, lol. And he definitely does his best to "prep" me, and the actual sex itself isn't painful at all, really, so that's not an issue.

I have pretty much the same problem. My boyfriend is on the larger side and the actual act never hurts, but shortly afterward and even the next day or so, I'm pretty sore. I have noticed a small tear too, right at the bottom of my vagina. This usually happens after doing it a few days in a row, or after one particularly rough session.

Personally, I feel that taking a few days off after it happens is helpful. Definitely give lube a try, since it makes everything much easier on your fragile skin down below. Also, if you're still bleeding days afterward and you're sure it's from the tear, you may want to bring it up to your gyno just to err on the side of caution.
