Question Strange yeast infection like symptoms?

When these symptoms started, I was a virgin. For about a week straight I had extreme itching of the vulva, along with a lot a swelling. I have looked at the possibility of the fact of vulvodynia, however I believe it is not that. I also have extreme sensitivity of the clitoris when these episodes occur. Now that I am no longer a virgin, the episodes occur more often. And intercourse is very painful during those times. My symptoms are just basically the swollen vulva, and very sensitive clitoris. Has any one experienced this as well?

It could be an allergic reaction to a perfumed soap. It could also possibly be a fungal infection as you have mentioned.
Do you have any upset tummy issues along with it.

I am usually queasy and nauseous after everytime I eat solid foods. Just recently started. And it's as if I have irritable bowel syndrome.

Did you recently start birth control?

I first got an episode for about 6 days in September 2010, and I started birth control, and being sexually active mid January 2011. I use nuvaring. And I don't take any other sort of drugs.

I am currently having one of these episodes, and it is horrible. I have an appoiment with my gynecologist in the early morning tomrrow. I am going to get any sort of test she will give me. And possibly switch over to the pill, if it has to do with nuvaring.
