    Default Bleeding after sex

Hi, ladies. Looking for a little advice here. The day after my period ended, my partner and I had intercourse. During the intercourse, I began bleeding. I thought maybe I had just irritated it too soon after my menstrual period and expected it to stop within a day or two. It has now been 4 days since that intercourse, and I am still "bleeding", if you want to call it that. It is more spotty than anything, though substantial, and brown in color. Has this happened to any of you before? Should I wait a few more days to see if it stops, or do you think I should go ahead and set up an appointment with my gynecologist? The other thing is, my OB/GYN schedules appointments 2-3 MONTHS out. Is this serious enough to schedule an "emergency" appointment? I would email my gynecologist, but her email info is not online, nor does she have a personal voice mailbox. Any advice is appreciated. (P.S. I had engaged in sex regularly with my partner before that day, we the only abnormality was that I had just started the pill; it was the first time we had sex without a condom).

Maybe you weren't that wet. I know that has happened to me a few times. Even tho I was horny, I just couldn't get wet. So because you aren't used to having sex without condoms, maybe you were too rough and it could have torn something down there...Like I said, it has happened to me a few times from not being wet enough and had rough sex. Hoped it helped. Good luck hun. :O)

believe me you would feel it if something had torn. i have torn from a fingernail and it was herrendous. it is most likely the remains of your last period. it is dark blood so it is old blood. its just taking its time. you dont need to call emergency unless you are bleeding heavily and/or in a lot of pain. just my opinion. periods change all the time and im not saying its become longer but perhaps the contractions that dispell the blood lining from the walls of your uterus were not enough to get it all out in the time frame you are used to.

it could also be your pill.
If I knew where I was going I would already be there
