    Default Masturbation Complications

My girlfriend and i have recently become sexually active, although we haven't gotten into penetrative sex yet (she is still a virgin). I haven't fingered her before because she says it's really painful and she's never masturbated before so she's very tight.

Somehow i convinced her to masturbate and she said she really enjoyed it right up until she tried to finger herself. Her finger somehow got stuck inside of her. She said her finger got "hitched" and it was extremely painful to pull out. She had a similar experience when she tried to use a tampon (which is why she only wears pads now)

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this? I've searched the net but could find nothing like this. I'm afraid that we might never be able to have proper sex because of this.

Fingering her vagina would take bending one finger or more at a sharp angle. If she had fatigued the muscles from repetition, her muscles could have locked and not released. Did she have to straighten her finger or fingers with her other hand?

Definitely a concern to bring to her gyno at her next yearly appointment! In the meantime, what jns mentioned seems quite plausible.

Maybe, being inexperienced, she just doesn't understand what her vagina is shaped like. Through careful and slow exploration, she should become more comfortable with herself and her body's reactions.

Perhaps she is experiencing a medical condition called vaginismus, in which the pubococcygeus muscle contracts strongly upon the insertion of anything into her vagina that may even trap or strangle the inserted element.
It can be really painful and more like impossible to have sex with

As for the intervention, try reading this

Vaginal probes are introduced into the woman's vagina, and usually with her own hand so that she can maintain control physically and psychologically over the rate of insertion. This procedure requires a great amount of trust and compassion to take place between the patient and the practitioner for the outcome to be successful.
