Thread: Worried and Confused

Hello All,
I need some help trying to figure out what is going on. I am 23 and have a lingaul thyroid problem. I am on medicine for it. A side effect from this medicine is infertility and I have been on the medicine for about 7 years. I really want kids own of my when I am a little bit older but now i don't know if I can. But enough with the background and on with the real things that are going on. I have been with my boyfriend for 6 years now and we have decided to be more intimate. A few days ago we had sex and later finding out that the protection he had on was ripped. We both were nervous and didn't know what to do next. but about two days later I started bleeding. We thought that was a good thing but it was two weeks early so we don't know what to think of it. When I first started bleeding it was very heavy and very painful. Painful enough so I would just want to lay down and if I got up I felt nauseous. Then three days in it slowed down to almost stoped then the next day it started back up but slow. We have no idea what is going on. We thought it could be that I am pregnant or just my period acting odd or that my body rejected a possible pregancy which made it like a miscarriage. Does anyone know what could possibly be going on?

Hi the bleeding is probably just a symptom of your Thyroid issues but could be worth a doctor visit.
There are other ways of controlling thyroid issues you should google and discuss with your Thyroid doctor/specialist.
Vitamin D3 , selenium, copper, and zinc, and issues like avoiding too much soy, and balancing iodine intake?
